Booklet produced as part of the IOE Early Career Impact Fellowship awarded to Kristýna Skriczka and developed in collaboration with the Nkwihoreze team

About this project

The idea for the Nkwihoreze art-booklet began with a simple but powerful request from families:
“Can we have something to help us remember how to use the tools?”

This question reflects the impact of the Nkwihoreze programme. We were pleased families found the tools useful and wanted to continue using them beyond the life of the project.

The booklet aims to:

  • Help families remember how to use the Nkwihoreze tools

  • Showcase the creativity and collaboration of the entire Nkwihoreze team

  • Share the stories, artwork, and proverbs with a wider audience

  • Celebrate the value of local knowledge and culture

Condensing over a year of collaborative work into a few pages was no small task. Please download the booklet here to see how it turned out.

And, if you have a moment, let us know what you think about it, here.

Thank you!
