Introducing Nkwihoreze

Workshop in Huye

In this workshop in Huye,  40 children and young people aged between 6 and 17 and 49 parents, together with project facilitators from UNM and AERG and psychosocial workers, worked together to explore the topics of intergenerational transmission of trauma, resilience and memory. 

Trauma vs Resilience

Intergenerational transmission of trauma and resilience is beautifully explained in this short animation using original art created by one Nkwihoreze project participant.
